Teresa Helen (D’Andrea) Wishart, wife of James F. Wishart (who passed 5 days earlier), passed into the arms of Our Lord on Sunday, August 27, 2023. A secretary for 26 years, retiring in 1998 from the R.I. Department of Human Services. A thrill seeker, her adventures included whitewater rafts, snowmobiles, jetboat, airboats, helicopters, parasailing, bobsleds, glider planes, hot air balloons, diving in a submarine, an elephant ride, and more. She visited many museums and was especially partial to Italian Renaissance painting and Russian Icons. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts. She and her husband of 69 years rode 483 rollercoasters together. She loved volunteering at the now closed St. Maria Goretti Church and her breakfast, dinner, and monthly birthday parties with her SMG friends.
She leaves her sons, James F. Wishart and his wife Maureen of Warwick, and Eric Wishart and his wife Doreen of North Kingstown, grandson, Kyle Wishart and his wife Kate of Coventry, granddaughter, Allyson Cross and her husband Alexander of Chapel Hill, N.C., great-grandsons, Max Cross and Henry Wishart.
Services will be combined with her husband as she joins him in their everlasting life together. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend their Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 29th at 11:00 AM in the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Interment with James will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. All those who are attending the funeral, please report directly to church in the morning. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln.
